Twelve Courses

Let’s go!

A sweep-kick, a summersault,
dodging bombs on battlefields.
There’s castles floating in the sky,
I climb to top the fortress heights.
Taking on an ocean dive,
and waving hi to Roger, who sits jolly in the bay…
If you take it cool, I’ll make it cool,
’cause baby, I’ve got mountains to move.

I am haunted by big ghosts, big ghosts that scare me.
I feel like I’m a slave, trapped in a haze maze cave.
I’ve landed in a fireplace, that’s lethal, that’s lethal.
And now the sands are shifting, beneath my jumpy feet.

It’s getting dire, dire
I’m looking for a haven.
Is there a safe place, for me to dock my ship?
I’m coming down to land, much like a melting snowman.
Stuck in this wet world,
a dry town is what I seek.

Lost on an island that is huge, yet I am a tiny man.
Hands on the clock,
are moving fast.
Tick – I am running out of time – Tock.
But when I see the rainbow,
It is that I know,
I’ve been on the ride of my life.

For a man of honest craftsman’s trade,
to slay the Dragons on his way,
there’s twelve courses to be passed,
where many foes reveal their wrath.
But golden stars light up the path,
to guide him to his princess sweet,
so that plumber-man and Peaches meet.
